Windhorse Dog Coats are the perfect way to keep your dog warm and dry. These coats are constructed with a premium quality medium denier waterproof, windproof, and breathable polyester canvas outer shell. The lining is a soft poly Sherpa fleece for warmth. They feature a seamless back design and contoured fit. Application is simple and secure using a wide Velcro closure in front with generous adjust ability, and an elastic belly strap with an adjustable slide and Velcro closure. With 7 solid colors and 7 sizes you will be sure to find the right one for your favorite Dog.
Sizes XXS - Medium allows the use of a harness with a "Button Hole" design.
These coats feature a black binding and an embroidered Windhorse logo patch is on the left hind leg panel.
Please measure from the neck, where a collar would lie, back along the backbone to where the tail meets the body. This measurement will give you the back length and show you the best option for your dog. The side measurement just lets you know how far own the side of your dog the coat will fall.

The sherpa lined dog coat is waterproof, with just enough lining for warmth in cold weather. It is not overly heavy. We have bought several Universal Horse dog coats over the years (for us and as gifts) and have always been impressed with the quality of the products. Will buy again.

We bought 2 of these on for a 92lb lab and one for a 65lb lab. And yes they do not mind rain but when it gets cold and wet these coats are just the best. They are easy to put on and Tipsy and Sylvie really seem to like them. They have a good weight and nice warm lining. When we get home I shake the coats off and they dry quickly. I am going to purchase one for our daughters dog. I also like the reflector that runs all the way around the edge. Good for walking at night. I really like Windhorse Sherpa Coats!!!

This is the second Windhorse coat I have purchased for my dog, after 4 years of use we wore the first one out. I love the warm Sherpa lining and the durable denier exterior. We live in the Pacific Northwest but we walk every morning so Emmylou needs a coat that is waterproof and warm and this coat is. It is easy to get on and off of her and she's comfortable wearing it. I've had one of my dog jacket for 12 years and it's still in pristine condition. These jackets are warm and waterproof. Great as an outer layer depending on your level of activity. I highly recommend. I've bought one for every dog I have/had. Love them.

This is the third of these coats we've purchased as our little dog has outgrown his first one They are easy on and off and keep our dogs warm and mostly dry. They are well made and hold up to daily wear and tear.

We have a 180lb English Mastiff and he's long and lean. This coat covers his whole back and fits snugly without struggling to fit the closures together. Very happy with this coat!

I have 2 of these coats for my boys and I love them! They are so easy to put on, super warm and are excellent in protecting them against the cold, snow and rain. We now have two of these coats. Having shopped around both for the first one and the second one - I can't find anything else that's even close in quality & features (without the features entering the realm of "goo-gaws"). The girls (even the male one) love these coats. They're warm. They fit well. They're water-proof. They're colorful and stand-out in the woods & heavy brush the dogs are often running in. The reflective piping is a huge bonus for the same reason. And they're durable to a fault. They launder very well. The first one is now several years old & has been laundered many times (in the NOT gentle cycle) - and if anything, has become better. Highly recommend these bad boys!

We have American Bullys. So our short haired dogs so appreciate being warm in the winter while out in the barn with me. They fit them great and they are very durable. We have been buying these coats for about 9 years. I do wish that they had an option for a warm belly band and for the small/medium coats the option to not have the harness hole. Thank you for making great coats.
