Windhorse Dog Coats are the perfect way to keep your dog warm and dry. These coats are constructed with a premium quality medium denier waterproof, windproof, and breathable polyester canvas outer shell. The lining is a soft poly Sherpa fleece for warmth. They feature a seamless back design and contoured fit. Application is simple and secure using a wide Velcro closure in front with generous adjust ability, and an elastic belly strap with an adjustable slide and Velcro closure. With 7 solid colors and 7 sizes you will be sure to find the right one for your favorite Dog.
Sizes XXS - Medium allows the use of a harness with a "Button Hole" design.
These coats feature a black binding and an embroidered Windhorse logo patch is on the left hind leg panel.
Please measure from the neck, where a collar would lie, back along the backbone to where the tail meets the body. This measurement will give you the back length and show you the best option for your dog. The side measurement just lets you know how far own the side of your dog the coat will fall.

I bought this coat for my dog. It has lasted over 8 years. In the last few months, I've purchased two more for friends' dogs. Keeps them dry and warm. Very comfortable,
very tough and wears well.
Not only that I needed a longer belly strap for one of the dogs. Was able to get the coat modified at no cost

We love these costs. We happened to find one at a feed store a few years ago for our Great Dane and decided to get another one. It is so hard to find good quality products for giant breeds. These coats help keep her warm without being cumbersome and bulky. It is also simple to put on.

I'm the proud owner of a Whippet as well as a veterinarian. As it typical for his breed, my dog has a very thin haircoat and is oftentimes cold. He will intentionally bury himself under blankets in front of the fire just to stay warm. At work one day a patient (dog) came in wearing one of these Windhorse coats. I was so impressed with the water repellant outer layer and warm fleece inner layer that I literally went home and ordered two that night. The arrived quickly and my dog has been wearing one for every walk and potty break since. We both love them!

This is my third Windhorse coat in 10 years. Have loved the previous two, but the latest one in same size is too tight across the stomach strap, the opening for the dog leash is too far back, and the exterior material is not as soft as previous coat, almost plastic-y rather than fabric. I can probably sew an extension onto the strap to make it work, but the latest coat won't work with my dog's usual harness/leash and the fabric is a disappointment.

My dog was not enjoying being outside she was too cold. She stays outside longer now and wears her coat.
